Privacy Policy
Effective date: 03/10/2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Mshkour IPTV Player, published by Mohamed Abdel Shakour, handles information when you use the Samsung Smart TV application.
1. Information handled by the app
The app allows you to add your own compatible IPTV account. Depending on the account you configure, the app may handle:
- Account label or nickname.
- IPTV server address.
- IPTV account username and password.
- A local account-management PIN selected by you.
- Playback preferences, favorites, and viewing progress stored locally on your device.
- App version and licensing status.
- A device-specific identifier used to prevent duplicate trial activations and to associate a software license with a TV.
2. How IPTV account information is used
Your IPTV server address, username, and password are used to connect directly to the IPTV service provider that you choose. Mshkour IPTV Player does not provide, host, sell, or bundle IPTV channels, films, series, or other media content.
IPTV credentials are not sent to the Mshkour licensing service for license activation. They are used by the app to authenticate with the external IPTV provider selected by you.
3. Information sent to the licensing service
For trial activation and paid software-license validation, the app may send the following to the Mshkour licensing service:
- A device-derived identifier or hash.
- The application version.
- A software license serial number when you choose to activate one.
- Activation date, expiration date, trial status, and license status.
This information is used only to operate trial and software-license controls, prevent duplicate trial use, enforce the permitted number of devices, and provide licensing support.
4. Local storage
Account information and app preferences may be stored locally on the Samsung TV so that the app can remember your accounts and settings. You can remove saved accounts from the account-management section of the app. Uninstalling the app may also remove locally stored app data, subject to the TV platform's behavior.
5. External content providers
When you configure an external IPTV provider, that provider may receive technical information such as your IP address and account credentials as part of the normal connection to its service. The privacy practices of that provider are governed by its own policies and are not controlled by Mshkour IPTV Player.
6. Content and viewing data
Mshkour IPTV Player is a media player. It does not operate a catalog of channels, films, or series of its own. Favorites and playback progress are intended to remain on the device unless an external content provider itself records activity through its own service.
7. Sharing of information
We do not sell personal information. Information used for software licensing is processed only as needed to provide and protect the licensing service. IPTV credentials are not sold or provided to advertising networks by Mshkour IPTV Player.
8. Retention
Local app information remains on the TV until you remove the relevant account, clear app data, or uninstall the app, subject to Samsung TV platform behavior. Licensing records may be retained for as long as necessary to operate, verify, troubleshoot, or administer the applicable trial or software license.
9. Security
Reasonable technical measures are used to protect licensing information. No transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Children
The app is not designed to knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Users are responsible for the content sources and accounts they choose to add to the app.
11. Your choices
You may remove saved IPTV accounts and related locally stored information through the app's account-management tools. For licensing or privacy requests, please use the support contact details below.
